ENCLOSURE TYPES
SEALED
A fully airtight enclosure that delivers tight, accurate, and articulate bass. Sealed designs offer the fastest transient response, excellent low-end extension, and a compact footprint—ideal when space is limited and sound quality is the priority.
BASS REFLEX (PORTED)
A tuned enclosure with a port that reinforces output around the tuning frequency. Ported designs are louder and more efficient than sealed, delivering strong impact and extended low-end punch—great for music that thrives on authority and headroom.
TRANSMISSION LINE
A long, internally damped path behind the driver that loads the cone acoustically. Transmission lines produce deep, controlled low-frequency extension with smooth response and reduced port noise—ideal for clean, powerful lows.
4TH ORDER BANDPASS
A sealed rear chamber coupled to a ported front chamber. Delivers strong, focused output within a defined bandwidth while acoustically filtering frequencies outside of tuning—efficient and impactful for a targeted range.
6TH ORDER BANDPASS
Dual ported chambers surrounding the driver. Provides extended low-frequency response, higher efficiency, and a wider usable bandwidth than a 4th order—big output with strong control across more of the low end.
FOLDED HORN
A long, expanding folded path that acoustically loads the driver like a horn. Extremely efficient, producing massive SPL with authority and deep extension from relatively modest power—perfect when you want to feel every note.
HYBRID
A blended design combining elements of horn, transmission line, and bass reflex principles. Hybrids maximize efficiency across a broader bandwidth, balancing SPL, extension, and sound quality in a single enclosure.
ISOBARIC
Two drivers coupled to act as one, effectively halving the required enclosure volume. Ideal when space is critical without sacrificing low-end extension—same deep response in a much smaller box.
FREE AIR / INFINITE BAFFLE
The driver mounts to a baffle that isolates front and rear waves, using the trunk or cabin as the rear volume. Delivers clean, natural, low-distortion response with minimal enclosure—smooth and effortless bass.
